(Mac OS X 10.9.5) I can't drag from one slide deck to another either. I can switch to Sorter view and move slides around there. I've looked around on the web and can't find anything to help. I have rebuilt the PowerPoint preferences and the trackpad preferences. I've also cleared the Recent Files list.
